DNS Blocklist (RBL/DNSBL)

Our Reputation Monitoring service regularly checks if your domain names or IP addresses are listed on DNS Blocklists, also known as RBL (Rea'-time Blackhole List) or DNSBL (DNS Blacklist). These lists contain known malicious or spammy IP addresses and domains and being listed can negatively impact your email deliverability and online reputation.

How it works
  1. Adding Monitoring Rules: Once you add a monitoring rule or group, the system will immediately perform a blacklist lookup and log the results in the alert history.
  2. Receiving Alerts: Within about 15 minutes of adding the monitoring rule, you will receive alerts based on your notification integration settings. Further checks will be conducted according to the frequency you set.
  3. Updating Alert History: The alert history will be updated based on the lookup status of the asset. For example, if an asset is whitelisted or blacklisted, the alert history will reflect these changes.
