WHY AUTHENTICATING YOUR EMAIL DOMAIN MATTERS
It's important to make sure your emails reach inboxes and aren't mistaken for spam. With Appointedd, you can easily authenticate your domain to enhance the credibility and deliverability of your messages.
By Default, Appointed sends email from noreply.bookings@appointedd.com, which works fine if you're using a custom domain (e.g., Gmail or Outlook). However, to get the most benefit from using your own domain, follow the steps below to authenticate your account to help ensure your emails lands in inboxes, and not in spam folders.
Note: Replies to the default no-reply address will bounce, as there is no inbox associated with it.
HOW TO ENABLE DKIM
To authenticate your domain and enable DKIM, follow these steps:
To authenticate your custom domain, you or your company must own the domain and have access to its NDS settings. If you have an IT person or department, they can handle this for you. If not, the process is straightforward. Once you have access to your DNS settings, simply copy and paste the automatically generated CNAME values from Appointedd into the DNS settings for the send-from emails.
